Harvest Home

After the huge success of the ITW library we sponsored for the girls’ school in Nigeria, we’ve identified another superb organization that we can help in our mission to encourage reading and literacy.

Harvest Home helps pregnant homeless women and homeless mothers with newborns. They have incredible follow up and move those they help toward continued health and stability rather than providing aid that goes to treading water. After moving on from the program, 92% of these women obtain full-time housing and 100% of moms retain custody of their kids.

Harvest Home has put together an innovative literacy program in keeping with ITW’s mission and values. If we can raise 15k, they can do a lot of good. I know them well and trust their capabilities in terms of execution, operations, and oversight.
