Bio:
Joe Kolman has been a financial writer for three decades. He began his career in 1983 as an associate editor at Institutional Investor magazine. In 1992, he started Derivatives Strategy, a publication that explained the nascent market in over-the-counter derivatives in plain English. He became a vice president at AllianceBernstein in 2005 and went on to become a managing editor at The Economist Intelligence Unit. He has an MFA in fiction from Cornell University and has been a fellow at the MacDowell Colony. SHORT-SELLER NATION, his second novel, was inspired by a two-year stint freelancing for an industrial espionage firm.
